Once the decision for the perfect manufacturer had been made, the next chapter of my VAKY journey began—and let me tell you, it was more exciting and multifaceted than I could have ever imagined. It felt like stepping through a door into an entirely new world, one where every step unveiled a fresh challenge but also a new opportunity.
Working with the manufacturer was like conducting a finely tuned orchestra. Beyond refining my pre-designed creations through countless quality checks and prototypes, there was so much more to tackle: designing and producing labels, fabric bags, thank-you cards, and shipping packages. These were tasks I hadn’t even considered at first, but they quickly became central to my daily life. It felt a bit like piecing together a puzzle that kept expanding—time-consuming and occasionally exhausting, but undeniably thrilling.
And then there was the bureaucracy—oh, the bureaucracy! From meetings with notaries and accountants to legal consultations with lawyers, each encounter brought me closer to my goal. These moments tested my patience and perseverance but also served as the first real steps into a business I could truly call my own. That sense of ownership fills me with immense pride.
Yet amidst all the hustle, there were magical moments that reminded me why I embarked on this journey in the first place. Spontaneous trips to Portugal, for example, didn’t just spark new inspiration; they deepened my appreciation for the craftsmanship and passion behind my designs. Each journey and experience sharpened my vision for VAKY, proving that while the path may not always be linear, it’s undoubtedly the right one.
