Where are VAKY items designed and manufactured?

VAKY is designed with love in Germany and manufactured in Portugal. Our premium fabrics are sourced from Italy.

HOW DO I WASH MY VAKY BIKINIS?

After taking a dip, show your bikini some love with a gentle rinse in cool water. Oh, and please, no wringing—it's not good for the fit!

Here's what to do:
For best results, hand wash your bikini whenever possible. If hand washing isn't an option, pop it into a mesh washing bag before tossing it in the machine. While your bikini can handle temperatures up to 40°C, a delicate cycle will help it stay fabulous for longer. Remember to wash it with similar colors and opt for cold water if you're unsure about the temperature.

And what to avoid:
Never wash your VAKY items in water hotter than what's recommended on the care label. Keep dark and light-colored items separate during washing. Use just the right amount of detergent—too much can be harsh on your bikini. Bleaching products are a big no-no! Steer clear of the tumble dryer—it's too rough for delicate swimwear. If you must iron your bikini, use low heat and handle the care label with care—no peeling allowed! And please, avoid ironing over prints, decorative hems, and embroidery. They deserve to stay pristine.

Wondering whether to choose the smaller or larger size if you're between two sizes?

Consistency is key across our collections to ensure you always feel your best in VAKY. However, the unique characteristics of each fabric may result in a slightly different fit. Generally, our printed fabrics offer a snugger fit, so if you find yourself between sizes, we recommend sizing up.

HOW CAN I BE NOTIFIED WHEN A PRODUCT IS BACK IN STOCK?

If the item you have your heart set on is currently sold out, don't fret! Simply head over to the product page, pick your size, and tap on the 'Notify when available' button. We'll make sure to send you an email as soon as it's back in stock. Your patience will be rewarded!

HYGIENE & SAFETY

At VAKY, ensuring top-notch quality and hygiene is paramount to us. Before anything leaves our warehouse, each product undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure it meets our high standards. When it comes to returns, we meticulously inspect for stains, odors, and discoloration, particularly with bikini bottoms. To be eligible for return, the hygienic seal must remain intact. We uphold this standard because we're committed to delivering flawless items to every customer, every time. Soiled or damaged items don't make the cut—we strive for perfection in every order.

ORDER & PAYMENT

Do I need an account to place an order?

No, you do not need to create an account. You can complete the order process, but make sure your details are correct when checking out (also note the auto-fill settings).

Which payment methods are accepted?

In our shop you have the choice of different payment methods: PayPal, credit card (Amex, Visa, Master, Maestro Google Pay and Apple Pay). You can easily choose the payment option that suits you best.

I have not received a confirmation email.

How can I check the shipping status of my order?

From the moment your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your order and stay up to date at all times.

Can I change/edit/cancel my order?

We process your order as soon as it's placed! Once an order has been placed we are unable to make ANY changes (This includes cancellations/shipping/billing addresses, shipping method, inserting promo code, removing/adding/altering an item in your order etc.)

When will I receive my gift card? Is an actual gift card sent out?

Our gift cards are digital and instantly available – perfect for those spontaneous surprises!
Email delivery takes just one business day. Physical gift cards are already in the works – stay tuned!

SHIPPING POLICY

Which countries are available for shipping?

We currently deliver exclusively within Germany.
Very soon, we’ll be expanding shipping to other European countries – stay tuned!

How can I check the shipping status of my order?

From the moment your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your order and stay up to date at all times.

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

We aim to process orders received during our normal business hours within 1-3 working days. Please note that during holidays and special promotions, processing and shipping times may increase to several days.

If your delivery takes longer than expected.

Using the tracking number included in your shipping confirmation, you can easily track your delivery. Please understand that we have no influence over the delivery process from our external suppliers.

If your package hasn’t arrived after ten days, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team via the contact form.

In the event that your package is lost during transit, rest assured that we will do everything we can to assist you. However, please note that we cannot be held liable for packages for which delivery confirmation has been provided. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we are ready to resolve any issues.

How much does shipping cost?

Your order will be shipped free of charge within Germany once the order value reaches 180 EUR. For orders within Germany under 180 EUR shipping costs will be charged regardless of the order value. The exact shipping costs will be detailed separately on the checkout page to ensure maximum transparency.

RETURNS & EXCHANGE

Can I return my order?

Of course, we very much hope that you like our products as much as we do. However, we can understand if the items do not fit or suit you and will give you the opportunity to return them within 14 days of receipt. Please note that the costs for the return shipment are borne by the customer.

What is your return policy?

We happily accept returns in original condition (unused, unworn, and unaltered) with tags and liners attached for either a refund, store credit, or a one time exchange. All return requests must be made within 14 days after the date of delivery. The refund, store credit, or exchange will be processed within 7 business days from the date of the returned package. We can only process a refund back to the original payment method and we do not refund any shipping fees.
